I am in the throws of doing my massive photo project for my kids school. Its awesome and hair pulling all at once! I photograph all 963 children (that is 3x the amount of people my entire home town is made up of!) 2 times. Each child is told to give me a nice smile and then a face that will make your parents giggle…something silly! I have seen at least 150 dabs, 200 zombies and 600 tongues sticking out! I am almost finished, the photos will be sold at our major fundraising event, the school auction!
So if you are a school parent, come one come all and buy your photo…lets get these kids some new, needed school equipment!
The pumpkins are put away, the leftovers eaten…its time to embrace that the Christmas holidays are here! Did it creep up on you like it did me? Did you wait to have your cards created? I won’t judge you! I am here to save you! My coveted Holiday Mini Sessions are here!

well, this is embarrassing! My poor blog has been starving but for good reason! You always hear advice to do something that you are passion about. Well, that is intimidating! A good friend is a successful accountant, but is she passionate about it? I doubt it. So that has always stumped me a bit. I recently heard advice that is way better…do something you are curious about. Makes more sense right? Well, I have done just that. I have been curious (my close friends might say obsessed) with real estate, ever since we bought our first house back in 2003. I talked about getting my real estate license about a month into home ownership. Well, I finally did it and I am so. totally. excited! In April I took the classes and began the search of what brokerage I wanted to join and who wanted me. After MANY long interviews, I found the most amazing brokerage. I joined Wydler Brothers in July. They are amazing. They are knowledgeable, ethical, supportive, collaborative…do I go on? I have learned so much in the last few months and feel so ready to make this jump into a new career. Will I still do photography? Yes, I will but I will be scaling back. Real estate is my main gig! So call me, we can talk homes, we talk photos…two things I am very curious about!
So to feed my blog, here just a few of my favorite images from the last few months…
